A security deposit is required if you do not have a guarantor or are able to self-qualify.
A guarantor is a third party, such as a parent, family member, friend, or another, who can help ensure timely and full payment of monthly installments. Guarantors must be 25 years old or older; be able to provide a Social Security Number; and pass all income, credit, and background screening requirements. To secure a space at Canyon Flats Apartments, click on the “Apply Now” tab and fill out an online application. Here, applicants will be able to choose their desired floor plan. The final step for securing a spot at one of our UNR apartments is to sign a housing contract. For any questions, feel free to call our leasing office!
Essentially, an individual housing contract means you will have a private bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and sharing the apartment’s common space. This style of housing contract grants residents and their guarantors peace of mind by ensuring they don’t have to worry whether their roommates can afford their monthly installments.

RoomSync offers an experience that supports a diverse and inclusive matching community through gender-inclusive tools. Yes, each of our apartments by UNR comes with a designer furniture package including a couch, living room chair, coffee table, tv stand, dining table and chairs, bed, mattress, armoire, desk, and desk chair.
Yes. There is on-site garage parking available with controlled FOB access. Parking is distributed to residents at a first come, first serve basis at an additional monthly fee.
Like most off-campus and on-campus housing, your living costs at Canyon Flats Apartments can be covered by financial aid. After university charges are satisfied, any available financial aid funds are released to the student for non-institutional expenses, such as housing. These funds can be used to pay charges at Canyon Flats Apartments. Note: The first installment must be paid in full to collect keys and move in regardless of Financial Aid Disbursement timing.
